The XTM 404S has a DC Output and when combined with the correct wire it is suitable for welding mild steel, stainless steel and aluminium. The machine is ideal for welding materials from 1.5mm to 10mm. Ease of Use The separate wire feeder carries all the controls with the exception of voltage adjustment so it is easy to fine tune the welding operation without having to return to the power source. Flexible The separate wire feed unit provides flexibility when working with large fabrications or where access is restricted. The three-phase operation gives a smoother arc compared to single phase machines. For enhanced performance the XTM 403S is equipped with soft start and burn back controls.
